Overview

This role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of debit card, credit card, and ATM operations. In addition, it will play a significant role in execution and oversight of AFCU's ACH, wire transfer, mobile deposit, and other payment channels. The AVP Payment Solutions will oversee operations of the Payment Solutions Department for efficiency and effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Oversee daily operations including daily settlements, vendor management, and project management. Create or maintain policies and procedures to support these functions. 
2. Assume role as a leading participant for projects impacting department operations.
3. Evaluate Department policies and procedures for adherence, efficiency, and effectiveness.
4. Serve as administrator, develop expertise, and maintain internal controls of the various payment systems and databases used to carry out daily operations.
5. Recruit, coach, and establish training plan for the department as needed.
6. Coordinate with Marketing and Senior Management to promote Arkansas Federal's plastic card products.
7. Coordinate with vendors to plan and execute plastic card promotions.
8. Evaluate work performance of staff. Provide meaningful feedback as needed.
9. Analyze vendor and internal reports to determine the performance of Arkansas Federal's plastic card programs, including the rewards program.
10. Balance general ledger or custodial accounts as warranted.
11. Manage AFCU's plastic card inventory
12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Intermediate: Contact Management, MS Word, MS Excel
·         Basic: PDF, Powerpoint

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Five years banking or related experience
  • Two years management experience
