GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Digital Marketing Strategist plans, executes, and optimizes digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels while also managing marketing operations, system integrations, and analytics. This role combines strategic thinking with technical execution — connecting marketing tools and data sources, automating workflows, and delivering actionable insights through analytics and dashboards. The strategist also leads efforts to increase member adoption and engagement with the credit union’s digital banking products and services. The strategist collaborates across teams and partners to enhance marketing performance, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities, while embodying the core values of Arkansas Federal Credit Union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns by choosing appropriate channels, targeting, and objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners, marketing strategists, and copywriters to ensure website content is updated, relevant, and optimized.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maintain and enhance the employee intranet; partner with web developers to implement new features and resources.
• Plan, design, and deploy in-branch digital signage in collaboration with marketing strategists and graphic designers.
• Develop and execute email, text message, and push marketing campaigns, providing reporting on performance and optimization opportunities.
• Manage and optimize social media content through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Research and evaluate new digital marketing technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
• Connect and integrate marketing platforms and tools using solutions such as Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, and similar technologies
• Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to streamline workflows, automate processes, and ensure systems communicate effectively.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across marketing systems including CRM, automation platforms, and analytics tools.
• Support marketing automation and CRM efforts, ensuring campaign data flows correctly between platforms.
• Oversee member adoption, engagement, and usage of key digital products, including digital banking, SavvyMoney (credit score monitoring), and digital payment solutions (mobile deposit, Zelle, wire transfers, and related services).
• Monitor enrollment and usage metrics for digital tools such as SMS communications and the mobile app; identify opportunities to improve awareness and adoption through targeted campaigns.
• Collaborate with product owners, data teams, and member experience teams to improve the digital user journey and increase utilization of self-service channels.
• Develop and maintain dashboards tracking key adoption KPIs, and share insights with stakeholders to guide strategy and communications.
• Build and maintain marketing dashboards and reports using Google Analytics 4 and Google Looker Studio.
• Track, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
• Provide both team-level and executive-level reporting on campaign performance, marketing ROI, and audience engagement.
• Identify trends and insights to recommend optimizations across digital channels and campaigns.
• Represent the Marketing Department on cross-functional project teams within the credit union.
• Collaborate with internal and external creative, media, and technology partners to achieve business objectives.
• Foster strong relationships within and outside the organization to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Demonstrate Arkansas Federal Credit Union’s core values and perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
• Two to three years of professional experience in digital marketing strategy, reporting, or operations.
• Experience with marketing automation, data integrations, or analytics preferred.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
