GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Prepares loan documentation based upon information submitted from lenders. Ensures loan documents are accurate, in compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, and ensures appropriate lien perfection while meeting time/date requirements in a production environment. Ensure that loan files contain the proper documents and relevant data. Also responsible for a variety of activities to ensure data integrity of loans including onboarding and answering loan related questions for members and lenders. Must have the ability to work in a demanding environment with high volume and be able to multi-task while having excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Experience is preferred in all areas of loan processing and servicing functions while managing multiple loan operating systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the day-to-day work systems. Fiserv DNA, Finastra Laserpro, Abrigo Sageworks, etc.
· Prescreens loan requests to ensure accurate data is received.
· Prioritize processing requests in order to complete in a timely manner.
· Accurately input loan information into Laserpro.
· Initiate and inform lenders and assistants of any errors, changes or information that may need attention.
· Review closing settlement statements to coordinate timely delivery of closing documents with title companies.
· Maintain and follow-up with loan document exceptions via Sageworks tickler management system.
· Accurately assign various loan codes to meet regulatory and credit union reporting requirements.
· Ensure timely loan funding and onboarding to the servicing core.
· Answer any servicing questions promptly and professionally.
· Complete titling of secured loans within the required timeframe.
· Read and interpret loan documents for accuracy ensuring that all policies and procedures are consistently met.
· Promptly identify, communicate, and remedy any errors in loan documents.
· Maintain updated procedures.
· Complete all required compliance training as assigned.
· Gather HMDA data and report accurately through Abrigo Sageworks.
· Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED
· 3 years of data processing, clerical/administrative, or equipment operation
· Knowledge of basic commercial lending principles
· Skilled in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
· Strong organizational skills
