GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
A key component of this position is to identify the financial needs of each member and recommend an appropriate Credit Union solution. The Consumer Sales Consultant is responsible for increasing the consumer loan portfolio by originating new loan business utilizing a variety of internal and external leads. This position will solicit business from potential, new, and seasoned members by offering relevant loans, deposit products, and services specifically selected to help meet the member's financial goals. Leads generated by but not limited to Indirect, Mortgage, New Accounts, Trans Union lists/prescreens, and existing member reports will be used to expand the financial relationship of Arkansas Federal membership. The Consumer Sales Consultant must have extensive knowledge of policies and procedures related to loan products, deposit products, and various credit union services.
