GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The primary function of this position is to deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members by providing policy servicing and sales support. Interact with Members/Non-Members to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Analyze members' complaints and recommend solutions discuss and provide information on the company's products and services.
  2. Understand the company's insurance policies and products and be able to tell whether a policy covers a type of loss or not.
  3. Communicate changes or adjustment in policies to clients.
  4. Send newsletters, mail, and other forms of correspondence to members.
  5. Coordinate and conduct outbound initiatives to support sales and service teams.
  6. Manage referral platforms and generate monthly referral/incentive reports.
  7. Conduct and manage discovery interviews within 24-hour response time standards.
  8. Liaise with the insurance carriers and agency staff to coordinate requests from prospective and existing policyholders.
  9. Develop a working knowledge of Credit Union services, policies, procedures and government regulations concerning mortgage lending.
  10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Equivalent to four years high school or GED
  • 3 years related experience and/or training
  • 3 years related management experience
  • Property & Casualty license

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
